Noise was occasional and light, matching short periods of light SW wind and clearer air. There was noise on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Thereafter only for a short while on Sunday evening and Monday afternoon. On Saturday winds were generally S/SE/E. 00:00 to 14:00 Sunday had broadly N winds. Thereafter a light W wind predominated. Generally damp, with periods of rain.

Monday morning between 7 and 8am the sound of log handling accompanied by the vortex noise could be heard clearly above the A69 traffic noise.
